How to get involved?
Take the Pledge
- Go to the Rethink. Reset. Recycle. website FloridaRecycles.org and find the link to the America Recycles Day #BeRecycled Pledge and commit to reduce, reuse, recycle and buy recycled
- For America Recycles Day 2019, I pledge to:
- Learn – I will find out what materials are collected for recycling in my community.
- Act – Within the next month, I will reduce the amount of waste I produce, I will recycle more, and I will buy products made with recycled content.
- Share – In the next month, I will encourage one family member or one friend to take the #BeRecycled pledge.
Social media
- Help us spread the word about what to recycle. We will be providing information that you can use in social media to educate your constituents and the general public about the benefits of recycling. Look for a list of posts that you can use during the week of November 11 and leading up to America Recycles Day.
- Send us a photo of you recycling
- Use #whathaveyourecycledtodayFL
Op-ed or letters to the editor
