Grant Will Expand Recycling Access for More Than 55,000 Residents Across Levy County, Florida

Permanent Recycling Hub Will Strengthen Local Infrastructure in Rural Florida

LEVY COUNTY, FL – American Beverage today announced a $130,000 investment to Levy County, Florida, to support the development of a permanent, staffed recycling drop-off site. This investment, made with The Recycling Partnership, is part of America’s beverage companies’ broader commitment to strengthen recycling infrastructure in rural and underserved communities nationwide.

The new permanent facility will serve more than 55,000 residents across Levy County and replace the county’s current temporary recycling collection sites to provide residents with more consistent, reliable access to recycling. The grant will also support the transition to a single-stream recycling system and includes purchase of five roll-off containers, community education and outreach and partial funding for operational equipment.
